Benhaven Residential Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee the operations and the care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our group home setting.

This is a Full-time, flexible 37.5 hour per week exempt position. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead direct care staff in the delivery of quality care and services to individuals in the group home
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in conjunction with the individuals, their families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure the group home is compliant with all regulatory standards and licensing requirements
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budget management, and maintenance of the physical environment
• Provide guidance and support to staff in addressing behavioral challenges and implementing positive behavior support plans
• Maintain open communication with individuals, families, external providers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff
• Collaborate with other managers and supervisors to promote continuity of care and best practices across programs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, college degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including at least one year in a supervisory role (residential setting preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of behavioral support techniques and person-centered planning
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a variety of background checks
• Flexibility of schedule to meet the needs of the home including on-call responsibilities
